saw Sounds Like Searchers released, their 4th album, all on Pye records. There are mono and stereo versions of the original LP, my favourites are an uptempo Everybody Clap Your Hands, a Byrds soundalike If I Could Find Someone, a slightly comic Bumble Bee and finally a /5(9).

 · While the Searchers' fourth album was a pleasant enough collection of diverse and thoughtfully arranged pop/rock, by their own standards it was below average. In addition, within the context of early British rock, they were already falling off the pace with their over-reliance on cover material, which dominates the set/10(16).

 · Sounds Like Searchers, an Album by The Searchers. Released in March on Pye (catalog no. NPL ; Vinyl LP). Genres: Pop, Pop Rock. Rated # in the best albums of Featured peformers: Chris Curtis (performer), Frank Allen (performer), John McNally (performer), Mike Pender (performer)/5(2).
